Voting Time Off. The Employer encourages Employees who are to vote. If an Employee is unable to vote before or after their shifts shall working hours in statewide or national public elections, the Employee will be allowed up to two (2) hours of paid time off work with pay in which to vote. Employees must give reasonable notice of the need to have time off to vote in general elections. The employee shall notify her/his supervisor and must give at least two (2) working days in advancethree days’ notice when possible.

Employees who are unable If an employee does not have sufficient time to vote before or after their shifts shall be allowed two (2) hours outside of his/her working hours, s/he may take time off work with pay to vote in general electionsat the beginning or the end of his/her shift, whichever provides sufficient time to vote. The Authority shall pay the employee for the time taken to vote, up to 2 hours. The employee shall notify her/his supervisor must provide the Authority with at least two (2) 2 working days in advancedays’ notice that s/he will be taking time off to vote.
