Common use of Volunteer Fire Service Clause in Contracts

Volunteer Fire Service. Any Employee who is a volunteer of the Darien, Noroton or Noroton Heights Fire Departments will be entitled to respond to his duties without loss of pay, provided that such Employee is not handling an emergency in his or her department and that the Employee's departure will not disrupt the operation of his or her department.
