Voluntary Checkoff Sample Clauses
A Voluntary Checkoff clause allows individuals or entities to choose to have a specified amount deducted from their payments or earnings, typically to support a collective fund or organization. In practice, this might mean employees can opt to have a portion of their wages directed to a union fund, or producers can contribute to an industry marketing program. The core function of this clause is to facilitate collective funding efforts while preserving individual choice, ensuring that participation is not mandatory but available to those who wish to support the cause.
