Vacation Denial. If a request for the use of accrued vacation is 35 denied, the affected employee may request a review of that decision by the next 36 level of supervision within two (2) working days with conclusion within five (5) 1 working days. The outcome of that review is final. All denials of vacation usage 2 require the communication of the reason for denial, which shall be for good cause 3 only, and, not for arbitrary or capricious reasons, which shall be documented on 4 the vacation request form.
