Common use of Unit Definition Clause in Contracts

Unit Definition. 1. The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for collective negotiations and representation concerning the terms and conditions of employment for all adjunct faculty members employed by the College who begin teaching credit courses for at least their second consecutive semester within the past academic year at the College. 2. Fall and Spring semesters only are considered when applying the definition in Article I, Section A, paragraph 1 above. 3. Courses within the Fall and Spring semesters shall count when applying this definition.

Unit Definition. 1. The Board hereby recognizes the Association Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for collective negotiations and representation concerning the terms and conditions of employment for all adjunct faculty members employed by the College who begin commence teaching credit or credit equivalent courses for at least their second consecutive semester within the past two (2) academic year years at the College. 2. Fall Summer courses and Spring semesters only Wintersession courses are not considered when applying the definition in Article I, Section A, paragraph 1 abovethis definition. 3. Courses commencing and terminating within the Fall and and/or Spring semesters shall count when applying this definition.
