Union Representatives Access. The Union will furnish the name of the Union representatives to the Employer. Union representatives shall have access to the facility for the purposes of conferring with the Employer, Union Stewards, and/or bargaining unit members, and for the purpose of administering this Agreement. The Union shall provide 24 hours advanced notice of access via email to the facility Administrator prior to entry to the building. The Administrator may deny access in an emailed response, in the event Union representatives do not provide advanced written notice more than 24 hours prior to entry or under extreme circumstances such as state survey, or contagious illness in the facility. If the Administrator does not provide a written response, the Union representative will not be prohibited from accessing the facility. If the facility visit is in relation to filing of an employee’s grievance or the investigation of a potential grievance, the Union representative shall have immediate access to the Employer’s premises. Upon entering the facility, the Union representative shall notify the Administrator, or his/her designee, of the representative’s presence in the facility. Union representatives shall confer with employees during the employee’s non-working time in the employee break room and other non-work areas.
Union Representatives Access. Authorized representatives of the National or State Union shall be permitted to visit the Department at reasonable times and to a reasonable extent during work hours for the purpose of discussing with individual employees matters covered by this Agreement; provided, such visits and discussions shall not disrupt department work or require additional work time by employees and provided further that the Chief or his designee shall be advised in advance of all proposed such visits, and may disallow same if contrary to the foregoing restrictions or otherwise unreasonable.
Union Representatives Access. The Union’s duly authorized representatives shall have access to the Clinic’s premises where employees covered by this Agreement are working for the purpose of investigating grievances and contract compliance, excluding employee lounges and pharmacy space restricted to authorized licensed personnel; provided, however, the Union Representative will notify Human Resources in advance of entering and will notify upon leaving the Clinic. Such visits shall be subject to the same rules generally applicable to other non- employees and shall not interfere with patient care.
Union Representatives Access. The M.E.A. and its member companies agree to give access to Union representatives and their vehicles to the sites, buildings, installations and ships under their responsibility or jurisdiction in order to allow them to fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with this collective agreement. Union representatives will identify themselves by carrying an identity card issued by the port authority. When a vehicle travels on company property, the union representative must activate the vehicle's flashing light in accordance with regulations.
Union Representatives Access. A Union official, other than BDO employees, that requires building access through the security system, may be granted building access after appropriate background investigations and payment. The Union official will be required to pay for or provide evidence of a background investigation and the BDO will be required to furnish the security access card.
Union Representatives Access. Union Representatives or their designee shall have access to the premises of the Employer during an emergency situation in order to help resolve a serious dispute or issue. In order to receive access, such representative must provide notice if possible to the Employer and make necessary arrangements so as not to disrupt the work of the employees. An International Representative of the Union, upon notifying the Employer, shall be permitted on the Employer’s premises during normal working hours for the purpose of investigating grievances for Step 3 or beyond, to conduct other Union business with the Circuit Court Clerk, or to handle internal affairs with the Union.
Union Representatives Access. The Union’s duly authorized representatives shall have access to the Hospital’s premises where employees covered by this Agreement are working for the purpose of observing working conditions and investigating grievances. Union representatives shall not have access to employee lounges, departments, units, work areas or other patient care areas unless advance approval has been obtained from Human Resources, which may not be unreasonably denied. Such visits shall be subject to the same rules generally applicable to other non-employees and shall not interfere or disturb employees in the performance of their work during working hours and shall not interfere with or provide any distraction to patient care, patient families, or the normal operation of the Hospital. Nothing in this paragraph shall be construed as a waiver of the union’s statutory rights.
Union Representatives Access. 28.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the premises, after notifying the manager or designate, for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented.
