Union Certification. The Department shall make payroll deductions in reliance on the Union’s certification that the Union has and will maintain an authorization signed by each member employee who affirmatively consents to pay Union membership dues. Similarly, the Department shall only cancel or modify membership dues or any other mutually agreed payroll deduction for any member employee in reliance on information provided by the Union to the extent permitted by law.
