Uniform Requirements and Allowances. Clothing provided by the District will be checked out to employees. Employees who leave a position will be expected to return all items checked out for their use. Employees are expected to present a professional appearance when representing the District.

  • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • PAY AND ALLOWANCES Regular Rate of Pay: The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class as provided for in Appendices A and B, which is attached hereto and, by reference, incorporated as a part of this Agreement.   • Parental Leave Allowance (a) An employee who qualifies for parental leave pursuant to Clause 26.02, shall be paid a parental leave allowance in accordance with the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan. In order to receive this allowance, the employee must provide to the Employer proof of application and eligibility to receive employment insurance benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act. An employee disentitled or disqualified from receiving employment insurance benefits is not eligible for parental leave allowance.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • REPORTING ALLOWANCE 21.1 In the event that an employee reports for work on his regular shift without having been previously notified not to report, the employee will be given at least four (4) hours work or five (5) hours for a ten (10) hour shift, or, if no work is available, he will be paid the equivalent of four (4) hours or five (5) hours for a ten (10) hour shift at his appropriate rate of pay except in the case of labour disputes or other conditions beyond the control of the Company.

  • Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.
