Unexploded Ordnance (UXO). Explosive ordnance that has been primed, fused, armed or otherwise prepared for use or used. It may have been fired, dropped, launched or projected yet remains unexploded either through malfunction or design or for any other reason. UXO may be present behind the fences.

Unexploded Ordnance (UXO). There is the potential for the presence of unexploded ordnance (UXO) within the contract limits. The CONTRACTOR shall engage the services of a qualified subcontractor to perform a preconstruction evaluation, survey and safety monitoring during construction. The CONTRACTOR shall retain the services of an Unexploded Ordnance Construction Support Team (UXOCST) to observe excavation activities throughout the project site and identify potential UXO and discarded military munitions (DMM) if they are exposed. Unexploded Ordnance (UXO). All work that is done in the UXO area must include the support and clearance by a UXO technician. In addition, all personnel entering the UXO area must have UXO recognition training. The COR will escort the contractor to the EB for UXO recognition training. The COR will provide a map of the UXO area to the contractor.

  • Voice Grade Unbundled Copper Sub-Loop Unbundled Sub-Loop Distribution – Intrabuilding Network Cable (aka riser cable)

  • Unbundled Copper Loop – Non-Designed (UCL-ND 2.4.3.1 The UCL–ND is provisioned as a dedicated 2-wire metallic transmission facility from BellSouth’s Main Distribution Frame (MDF) to a customer’s premises (including the NID). The UCL-ND will be a “dry copper” facility in that it will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils, repeaters, or digital access main lines (DAMLs), and may have up to 6,000 feet of bridged tap between the End User’s premises and the serving wire center. The UCL-ND typically will be 1300 Ohms resistance and in most cases will not exceed 18,000 feet in length, although the UCL-ND will not have a specific length limitation. For Loops less than 18,000 feet and with less than 1300 Ohms resistance, the Loop will provide a voice grade transmission channel suitable for Loop start signaling and the transport of analog voice grade signals. The UCL-ND will not be designed and will not be provisioned with either a DLR or a test point.

  • Mail Order Catalog Warnings In the event that, the Settling Entity prints new catalogs and sells units of the Products via mail order through such catalogs to California consumers or through its customers, the Settling Entity shall provide a warning for each unit of such Product both on the label in accordance with subsection 2.4 above, and in the catalog in a manner that clearly associates the warning with the specific Product being purchased. Any warning provided in a mail order catalog shall be in the same type size or larger than other consumer information conveyed for such Product within the catalog and shall be located on the same display page of the item. The catalog warning may use the Short-Form Warning content described in subsection 2.3(b) if the language provided on the Product label also uses the Short-Form Warning.
