Common use of Treatment of Client Property Clause in Contracts

Treatment of Client Property. Except as otherwise provided by court order, the Contractor shall assure that any client for whom the Contractor is providing services under the Contract shall have unrestricted access to the client’s personal property. The Contractor shall not interfere with the client’s ownership, possession, or use of such property. Upon termination of the Contract, the Contractor shall immediately release to the client and/or the client’s family, all the client’s personal property.
