Transformer Protection Sample Clauses

Transformer Protection. With the 115kV bus becoming a breakered transmission bus, the existing 64/TR1 relay will need to be rewired and reset to allow the TR1 terminal to have the functionality required. The relay will be connected to one of the CT cores in the new column CT to provide breaker failure functionality for the transformer TR1 circuit switcher CS6177. Upon failure of CS6177, this relay will operate the 115kV bus breaker failure lockout relay. The relay will also provide reclosing functionality for CS6177 to support the 115kV automatic bus restoration scheme, and it will also serve to provide an additional overcurrent scheme for protection of TR1.
