Transfer to a Vacant Position. 1. When a vacancy arises the specifications of said vacancy will be posted internally within the Division/Unit/Section for a period of ten (10) working days and interested bargaining unit employees within the same Division/Unit/Section and of the same classification as the vacancy will be permitted to submit a request to transfer to said vacancy to their immediate supervisor.
