Common use of Transfer List Clause in Contracts

Transfer List. Any permanent classified employee may request a transfer from one department to another in her/his current classification, provided the employee meets the qualifications for the position. When requested by a represented employee, the City will place the represented employee’s name on a transfer list for the represented employee’s classification. The City will consider represented employees on the transfer list prior to filling vacant positions.
