Common use of TRADING TIME Clause in Contracts

TRADING TIME. An employee shall be permitted to voluntarily trade off-duty time for personal reasons with the approval of the Chief of Police or his or her designee. Traded time shall be in writing on the form provided and shall state the specific time and dates of trades, which shall be within the same pay period and the posted work schedule currently in effect during the request. Time voluntarily traded shall in no circumstances create or result in overtime status.
