Common use of Trades and Apprenticeship Act Clause in Contracts

Trades and Apprenticeship Act. The Employer has a right to require an apprentice attend trade school at intervals appropriate to timely progress through an apprenticeship, and to expect skills, knowledge and production in line with normal progress as an apprentice. The Employer will cooperate with the apprentice and the Ministry regarding the apprentice’s attendance at trade school, and will assign the apprentice to a journeyperson wherever and whenever possible to learn the trade.
