Common use of Tinsmith Clause in Contracts

Tinsmith. The employer shall pay the employee $0.65 for every hour actually worked, for meeting his obligation to supply safety boots, hard hats and their accessories. The employer may require that it be identified on the employee’s hard hat by its name, acronym or otherwise. Moreover, the employer, without being exempt from its obligation to pay the above amount, may require that its employees wear a hard hat that it supplies at its own expense.
