Ties in Seniority. Ties in classification and operational seniority shall be broken by City seniority. Ties in City seniority shall be broken by the impacted employees’ final ranking for the job classification the employees currently holds (highest to lowest) based on a combination of all test components as determined by Human Resources.

If employee rank is not available ties shall be broken randomly by the impacted employees’ final ranking for the job classification the employees currently holds (highest to lowest) based on a combination of all test components as determined by Human Resources' applicant identification numbers.
