The San Xxxx Obispo. County Employees Retirement Plan will continue to provide for reciprocal benefit treatment with the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) which incorporates through the reciprocity agreement with CalPERS other contract agencies, counties and municipalities that are also reciprocal with CalPERS, provided, however, that any Plan amendments which may be necessary to maintain that status shall require approval of both parties.
