Common use of TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES Clause in Contracts

TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES. A. The Committee agrees to make a good faith effort to provide sufficient required textbooks to insure that each pupil has textbooks for his/her own use. Prior to changing textbooks or selecting textbooks, all teachers using such textbooks shall be given the opportunity to provide written input to the Superintendent or his/her designee regarding the proposed change or selection. The consultation procedure shall be as follows:

Teachers will list their orders by priority so that the Administration may act appropriately when budget constraints dictate. Information on this matter will be available to teachers using such textbooks shall be given the opportunity to provide written input to the Superintendent or his/her designee regarding the proposed change or selection.
