Temporary Assignment Travel. When an employee is assigned temporarily to a worksite within the province that is so far removed that they are unable to return to their designated headquarters at the end of each workday, the following conditions shall apply: (a) Travel between the employee's place of temporary accommodation and the worksite shall be considered as time worked. (b) Employees shall be provided with return economy air fare in order to allow them to return to their place of residence and return to the worksite at the end of each workweek on the employee's time. (c) Employees who choose not to return to their place of residence shall not receive the return air fare.
