Technology Stipend. 15.1 The City shall provide a seventy-five dollar ($75) per month Electronic Device Stipend (“Stipend”) for those Association employees whose positions require the regular use of a cell phone and/or tablet and who choose to use their own personal devices for business- related conversations and activities. Effective the first day of the month following City Council adoption of this MOU, the Stipend shall be one hundred dollars ($100) per month. These employees may be eligible to receive a Stipend to compensate for business- related costs incurred while using their individually-owned electronic devices. Eligibility for the stipend requires the employee to return to the City any City issued electronic device(s) for which the employee will be substituting their personal device.
