Minimum Teaching Load Clause Samples
Minimum Teaching Load. Whenever it is not possible to schedule the minimum hours of teaching load within the eight (8) consecutive hours except as noted in Article V, Section 5.8(a), the appropriate Vice President, with the consent of the individual, may assign classes sufficient to provide the minimum teaching load.
Minimum Teaching Load. The teaching load assignment for each individual faculty member will consist of at least three contact hours per semester (exclusive of thesis supervision) and at least 200 student credit hours per academic year, or direction of graduate thesis or equivalent combination9 during each semester. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may waive this minimum in his discretion. No grievance rights of any sort shall attach to his failure to agree to such waiver; however no such waiver may be granted by him where the University has failed to meet other contractual objectives due to an insufficiency of resources.
