College Day Sample Clauses

The "College Day" clause defines the terms under which an employee, typically in a unionized or educational setting, is permitted to take time off from regular duties to attend college courses or participate in educational activities. This clause usually outlines eligibility requirements, the amount of leave allowed, and any necessary approvals or documentation. For example, it may specify that employees can use a certain number of paid or unpaid days per year for this purpose, provided they notify their supervisor in advance. The core function of this clause is to support employees' professional development and continuing education while ensuring that workplace operations remain organized and predictable.
