Teacher Schedule. A. Teacher Schedule. A. A teacher shall be given a tentative schedule of his/her assignments for the forthcoming school term no later than teacher checkout day. The Administration will make a good faith effort to obtain input from the teacher relative to any changes that may take place in the teacher’s assignment. In the event that the teacher does not wish to accept the assignment, the teacher may resign his/her teaching position within the school district by giving written notice thereof to the secretary of the Board. The resignation must be submitted within the time permitted by the Illinois School Code. B. The Board shall make every reasonable effort to notify a full-time teacher of a change of assignment no later than 30 calendar days prior to the first day of the new school term. In the event it is necessary to change an assignment after such date, the teacher shall have the opportunity to meet with his/her supervisor to discuss the reasons therefore.
