Common use of Teacher Certification Clause in Contracts

Teacher Certification. An Occasional Teacher may be required, upon request by the Board or its designate, to produce for the Board proof of current and valid membership and certification with the Ontario College of Teachers. Failure to produce satisfactory proof in accordance with the foregoing within two (2) weeks of a request, which time may be extended by mutual agreement, may result in disciplinary action against the Occasional Teacher, up to and including suspension or termination of employment with the Board.
