SUPERINTENDENCE AND SUPERVISION. 14.1. Town’s instructions are to be given through Consultant, which instructions Contractor must strictly and promptly follow in every case. Contractor shall keep on the Project a full-time, competent, English-speaking superintendent and any necessary assistants, all of whom must be satisfactory to Consultant. The superintendent shall not be changed except with the written consent of Consultant, unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to Contractor and ceases to be in its employ. The superintendent shall represent Contractor; all instructions given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to Contractor, and will be confirmed in writing by Consultant upon the written request of Contractor. Contractor shall provide efficient supervision of the Work, using its best skill and attention.
