Summer Months. During the months of July and August flexible scheduling of hours of work shall be permitted with the mutual consent of the employee and the employee’s immediate supervisor.
Summer Months. During the summer months when regular school is not in session, the Employer will post in the personnel office all vacancies as above described and shall also forward at the same time copies of said vacancies to all bargaining unit members known by the Employer to be certified for the position (if certification is required) and the Association. Positions so posted shall remain posted at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to being filled unless mutually agreed upon by the PEA President and the Superintendent. Application may be made in the same manner as above described. Likewise, these positions shall be filled on the same basis. It shall be the employee’s responsibility to notify the Superintendent of any change in his/her certification.
Summer Months. Job postings during the summer months shall be posted in each building, the main office, and the District Web Site. If testing is required, it will be stated on the posting and the District Web site.

If the teacher receives ISD 196 contribution toward the group insurance premiums at the end of the school year and if the approved date for the teacher’s return from leave is the beginning of the next school year, the teacher shall receive ISD 196 contribution toward the group insurance premiums for the months of July and August. However, the teacher must return at the beginning of that school year.
Summer Months. The starting time for each shift during the summer months will be advanced by one (1) hour from those set out above, however the starting time of the shifts will not be earlier than 05:00, 13:00 and 21:00 hours.
Summer Months. During the first week of July and the last 2 weeks of August all afternoon caretaking staff shall work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
