Common use of Summer Months Clause in Contracts

Summer Months. During the summer months when regular school is not in session, the Employer will post in the personnel office all vacancies as above described and shall also forward at the same time copies of said vacancies to all bargaining unit members known by the Employer to be certified for the position (if certification is required) and the Association. Application may be made in the same manner as above described. Likewise, these positions shall be filled on the same basis. It shall be the employee’s responsibility to notify the Superintendent of any change in his/her certification.
