Employees and their supervisors will review and discuss an employee=s job performance for the purpose of promoting agreement and understanding and to help the supervisor determine the overall performance rating for the end-of-year appraisal. In addition, the discussion is intended: 1. to develop modifications to the employee=s job description, if necessary; 2. to establish specific written tasks and standards/elements, based on measurable and objective standards, to accomplish during the next appraisal period in order to meet the overall objectives of the position; and 3. to identify training needs, if any, for the next appraisal period.
