Subpoenaed as a Witness in Court. A teacher subpoenaed to serve as a witness in court shall be paid the difference between his witness fees, exclusive of travel allowance and the teacher's per diem. It is the responsibility of the teacher to collect his witness fees and to show proof of the amount received to the school Administration in order to receive any payment from the School District for these days. If teacher is released prior to end of workday teacher shall contact the principal to determine whether to return to work.
