Strains Clause Samples

The "Strains" clause defines the specific types or varieties of a product, often agricultural or biological, that are covered or permitted under an agreement. In practice, this clause may list approved strains by name or reference a standard, ensuring that only those meeting certain genetic or quality criteria are used or supplied. Its core function is to ensure consistency and quality control by restricting the agreement to recognized strains, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over product characteristics or compliance.
