STARTING ON SITE. (a) (a) In the cities of Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Galway when contractors are based in these areas or where contractors not so based are working in these areas within a distance of 32 Kilometers by road from the shop, an electrician or an apprentice starts on site instead of in the shop, travelling time shall be paid in accordance with the following scale:- over 10Km. to 15Km. ½ hour per day over 15Km. to 20Km. 1 hour per day over 20Km. to 32Km. 1.5 hours per day over 32Km. Country money For contractors based outside of these areas and working outside of these areas traveling time is suspended until 2014.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
