Standard of Efficiency Established by METRO. In its hiring policy, METRO shall have the right to establish and require tests and standards of efficiency as it may deem necessary to satisfy itself of the competency and physical well being of the prospective employee for the desired position in order to fully provide for the safety of operation of its equipment, subject to the provisions of this Agreement and the applicable Safety Regulations of the California Highway Patrol or any other safety regulations provided by California law.
