Common use of Single Day Absences Clause in Contracts

Single Day Absences. An employee who has had five days paid absence on Personal Leave in any one year is not entitled to further paid personal leave in that year without production of a certificate from a qualified Medical Practitioner which states that the employee was unable to attend for duty on account of personal illness or injury.

Single Day Absences. An employee who has already had five days two paid personal leave absences in the year for personal illness or injury, the duration of each absence on Personal Leave in any being of one year day only, is not entitled to further paid personal leave for personal illness or injury in that the year of a duration of one day only without production to the employer of a certificate from of a qualified Medical Practitioner which states that the employee was unable to attend for duty on account of personal illness or injurymedical practitioner.

Single day absences will be calculated from July 1st, in any year.
