Common use of Single Board Arbitration Clause in Contracts

Single Board Arbitration. When either Party requests that a grievance be submitted to a single arbitrator, the request shall be conveyed in writing to the other Party to the agreement, indicating the name of the arbitrator. Within five (5) school days thereafter, the other Party shall respond in writing indicating its agreement of arbitrator or suggesting another name. If the Parties fail to agree upon an arbitrator, the appointment shall be made by the Ministry of Labour upon request of either Party.
