Common use of Shift Switches Clause in Contracts

Shift Switches. The Company agrees to provide a system for employees to switch shifts, providing two (2) employees are within the same job classification on different shifts at the time of the shift switch. Employees wishing to switch shifts will complete the appropriate form at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of the shift switch, exceptions may be made in cases of a bonafide emergency. All forms are to be submitted to the employee's direct Supervisor. All shift switches must have Management's written approval prior to commencing and if for any reason, either employee cannot satisfactorily perform the required work, the shift switch will be cancelled
