Common use of Shift Rotations Clause in Contracts

Shift Rotations. The rotation of personnel between shifts and squads shall be minimized within the limitations of providing an adequate and efficient work force at all times. When rotation is necessary, the Employer will notify the affected employees as soon as reasonably possible. Such notifications shall occur no later than fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the personnel rotation, except when such employees are probationary officers, or waive this provision in writing, or when such rotations are needed due to a bona fide law enforcement emergency.
