Common use of Shift Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Shift Cancellation. If any nurse is cancelled with less than twenty four (24) hours notice of the commencement of their assigned duties she shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay at the applicable rate of pay. Notice will be left on the employee’s work voice mail.

Shift Cancellation. If any a nurse is cancelled by the Employer from the entire scheduled shift with less than twenty four twelve (2412) hours notice of the commencement of their assigned duties such shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of three two (32) hours pay at the applicable rate of regular pay. Notice will be left on the employee’s work voice mail.
