Services and Resources for Students with Disabilities. Broward College (BC) is an equal access/equal opportunity institution which provides effective services and accommodations for otherwise qualified individuals with documented disabilities, as mandated by The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Disclosure of a disability is voluntary. However, if a student has a disability, we recommend that the student register with the Campus Office of Disability Services (ODS) in the event that the student may need accommodations. Some of the services available include note-taking, testing accommodations, sign language interpreters, readers, scribes, and use of assistive hardware and software.

  • Students with Disabilities The Charter School shall comply with all federal special education laws and regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All public schools, including charter schools, are part of and fall under the LEA. As such, the School shall comply with all applicable federal and State laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directives regarding the education of students with disabilities, including but not limited to Ch. 8-60, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).

  • SERVICES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Contractor hereby agrees to perform the services described and for the fee set forth in the Scope of Work. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the satisfactory and complete execution of the Scope Work.   • Services and Resources Services Contractor Agrees to Perform. Contractor agrees to perform the Services stated in Appendix A, “Scope of Services." Officers and employees of the City are not authorized to request, and the City is not required to reimburse the Contractor for, Services beyond the Scope of Services listed in Appendix A, unless Appendix A is modified as provided in Section 11.5, "Modification of this Agreement."
