Common use of SERVICE WITH PREDECESSOR EMPLOYER Clause in Contracts

SERVICE WITH PREDECESSOR EMPLOYER. If the Plan is the plan of a predecessor employer, an Employee's Eligibility and Vesting Service shall include years of service with such predecessor employer. In any case in which the Plan is not the plan maintained by a predecessor employer, service for such predecessor employer shall be treated as Eligibility and Vesting Service if so specified in Section 1.16 of the Adoption Agreement.
