Common use of Separations Clause in Contracts

Separations. A. An eligible employee may be separated from employment upon ten (10) days’ written notice. If the retention of the employee would result in an extraordinary situation, an appointing authority may immediately terminate the employee. B. All eligible employees who are separated from employment shall be given written notice of the reason for separation. A copy of the notice will be forwarded to the Union.
