Section 10.11.2. 34 Employees on approved L&I claims shall not be required to exhaust their sick leave and shall 35 have all other rights covered under state or federal regulations, or District policy. Employees 36 are encouraged to check with the appropriate District manager responsible for L & I claims to 37 clarify rights and obligations while on L & I leave. 38
Section 10.11.2. 22 Employees reduced in hours (one (1) hour per day or more) – will have priority in the 23 restoration of lost hours in the classification according to seniority.
Section 10.11.2. 10 In the event of layoff, employees so affected are to be placed on a reemployment list maintained by 11 the District according to layoff ranking. If the employee is on layoff and new or open positions are 12 posted, current employees will have priority. If no current employee bids on the job, those 13 employees on layoff will have priority. Names shall remain on the reemployment list for one (1) 14 year.

Section 10.11.2. 27 No more than one (1) employee may be absent under non-scheduled or personal leave, on a 28 given work day, providing a substitute is available, and appropriate route schedules are 29 prepared and left with the employee’s supervisor or designee.
