Scientific Coordination. The day-to-day scientific management of the project will be carried out by the Scientific Coordinator. He will be directly supported by the SC. The pertinent tasks of the Coordinator and the SC are as follows: • monitor the progress of developments in HATS, and also outside the consortium in the research area of HATS; • review the quality of deliverables and other documentation produced in the HATS project (see also the paragraph on Quality Assurance below);
Scientific Coordination. The Scientific Coordinator will be responsible for the definition of the overall strategy of the project in consultation with the EC (on policy issues), other stakeholders and the partners; for the overall planning of the activities in cooperation with the Task leaders; for the day-to-day management of the project and for the assistance to the partners in order to ensure the smooth implementation of its activities and goals foreseen in the Description of Work. Moreover, the Scientific Coordinator will ensure the development of synergies, elimination of redundancies and synchronization of the two IncoNet projects targeting the EaP and Central Asian (CA) countries respectively, as requested in the INCO Work Programme 2013.
