Common use of Salary/Wages Clause in Contracts

Salary/Wages. The City and Union agree to maintain the current hourly wage schedule with no increase for fiscal year 2013 - 2014; however, if any other group receives any monetary gain in the negotiated collective bargaining agreements for 2013/14 - 2015/16, other than for a necessary job reclassification, an equal monetary gain shall be given to all employees subject to this Agreement. Pursuant to Section 31.1, all hourly wage employees shall be paid for a forty (40) hour week effective July I, 2013. The Parties agree that all salary/wage issues covered in this Section are subject to reopening prior to the second year and third year of the Agreement commencing July 1, 2014, and July 1, 2015, respectively.
