Safety Measures. SECTION 1. The Employer and the employee will conform to all Federal and State health and safety regulations applicable to work covered by this Agreement and shall have adequate shelters available where necessary, with heat, where the workers can change and dry their clothes and store their tools. On all projects covered by this Agreement, there shall be provided by the Employer at all times during construction, sanitary facilities consisting of a reasonable number of toilets and urinals. Fresh drinking water will be available to the workers. Employer will furnish welding equipment, including all leathers, hard hats, eye protection, ear protection, respirators, safety belts and lanyards, and reflective vests. SECTION 2. This Agreement is not intended to and shall not be construed as creating, imposing, or adopting on the Union or representatives any state common-law duties in the areas of safety.
