Common use of Sabbatical Leave Pay Clause in Contracts

Sabbatical Leave Pay. Where a teacher is granted a leave of absence under clause 6.1, the District shall, during the term of such leave, pay to the teacher in lieu of all other salary, allowance and other compensation elsewhere in this agreement provided, a salary at the rate of 70 percent of gross salary that the teacher would be entitled to under the agreement, during the year of leave.
