Common use of Rights of Representation Clause in Contracts

Rights of Representation. When an employee is required to appear before the Board or any administrator concerning any matter directly involving discipline or which could lead to discipline of that particular employee, the employee shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present. When an employee is required to so appear, he/she shall have reasonable advance notice of the reason for the appearance.
