Common use of Right to Revise or Reject Clause in Contracts

Right to Revise or Reject. The County reserves the right, but not the obligation, to reject any insurance policies that fail to meet the criteria stated herein. Additionally, the County reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review or reject any insurer providing coverage due to its poor financial condition or failure to operate in compliance with applicable laws. Neither the County’s approval of any insurance provided by the Contractor or a Subcontractor, nor the County’s failure to disapprove such insurance, shall relieve the Contractor or a Subcontractor of any part or all of its responsibility for any liability, damages, or accidents, as set forth herein.
