Common use of Results Reporting Clause in Contracts

Results Reporting. ‌ The employee and the Union shall be informed of the results of all tests, and provided with all documentation regarding the tests as soon as the test results are available. The City shall designate a Medical Review Officer (MRO) to review all confirmed positive test results and communicate those results to the City. The MRO shall have the responsibility to determine when an individual has failed a drug test in accordance with the standards enumerated herein. If the results of the drug test are positive, and support a conclusion that the employee used an illegal drug, or reported to work while under the influence of alcohol, the employee may be subject to discipline including immediate discharge. When applicable, additional testing may be required under the City’s DOT policy.
