Common use of Rest Pause Clause in Contracts

Rest Pause. Ten minute rest pause (Smoko Break) will be provided without loss of pay at a time nominated by the Company and based on operational requirements. Rest pauses shall be taken to accommodate a situation where as no employee shall be required to work more than three and one half hours without a break, including meal breaks. This provision may be altered by the Company to meet production demands and may require employees to stagger such breaks.

This provision may be altered by the Company company to meet production demands and may require employees to stagger such breaks. During such breaks production shall continue without stoppage.
